Capital and largest city of Wyoming, Cheyenne was a major stop on the cross country railroad during the 19th Century, and is still an important freight yard. In fact, had Denver not successfully lobbied for a rail spur it's entirely possible that Cheyenne would have supplanted it as the hub city of the Mountain time zone.

Some have commented that Cheyenne resembles a smaller Pueblo. UC doesn’t think so. Cheyenne appears cleaner, denser and on the whole a more impressive breed of urbanity than its industrial cousin 200 miles to the south.
